This title sequence is basically about a story revealing the social phenomenon of demolition, I was inspired by the content in a Chinese song "拆东墙" (Tearing down the east wall) , written by my favorite musician Vae Xu.

The story is about man inherited the family’s old restaurant, having a peaceful life. One day the government trying to ask for this land by paying him, but he was reluctant because this is a hundred years of family business and the old house was inherited from generation to generation. In the end the government beat him up and force him to leave. After he recovered from his illness, his tavern was totally demolished, and all the buildings around this land was destroyed.

This social phenomenon is still going on in modern society. I want to reflects the powerlessness and helplessness of the public when fighting against power and the lack of human rights by visualize the story.
